It’s funny how much can hide inside a dot.

My early Infinite Possibilities paintings began with minuscule worlds of Benday dots, circles as life-forms and the mechanics of printed images.

But the closer I looked, the more they began to feel like microscopic worlds.

That little fascination has stayed with me ever since.

FYI… Benday dots were a clever old-school printing technique, using patterns of dots to create tones, colour and shading before digital printing took over. And, so beautiful magnified 🙌

Each dot here is painted by hand, all the circular and organic forms. Dots and spots. Repetition and rhythm. Layer upon layer of forms creating a sense of vast, almost infinite space.

What I enjoy most about my paintings is they make people smile with a sense of wonderment and feelings of happiness as well as giving their walls finesse with a splash of colour for years to come.
