I wanted this painting to be about movement, flux and have a positive active mood with the colours electric and possessing a vivacious energy. It was stimulated by my work with the vastness in micro-worlds where the light and colour have a vibrant dynamism. Yellow is so alive, an active dynamic colour creating light and high notes. It was the perfect backdrop for the effervescent dance of the ovoid forms in the foreground. This is like a highly charged electro-field of colour pulsating across the surface yet enchanting and mesmerising at the same time.

Yellow and Orange the warm colours associated happiness, sunshine, harmony and optimism.

I had a lot fun making this work; I hope you enjoy it too.

What I enjoy most about my paintings is they make people smile with a sense of wonderment and feelings of happiness as well as giving their walls finesse and a splash of colour for years to come.
